Facing

Facing is the compass direction a billboard face points; a north-facing face serves southbound drivers.

OAAA and Geopath define facing as the compass direction the face points. A face that points north is seen by people heading south.

Facing and read direction answer different questions. Facing says where the face points. Read direction says which side of the road it stands on.

Many operators put the facing at the end of the face ID, like N or S.

Example

Riverbend Outdoor’s B-114 N faces north, so southbound drivers see it. B-114 S, on the same structure, faces south and serves northbound drivers.

In Gabie

Scout’s outreach never claims a face is facing a road. It won’t name a road or highway unless visibility proof is attached.

Every empty face is money you already spent.

Sign up free for your first 100 faces, or bring three open faces and we run Scout on them while you watch.
