SignDash Review (2026): Features, Pricing, Pros and Cons
By Gabie Research · Updated Oct 16, 2026 · 8 min read
Short answer
SignDash is a good fit for small US billboard owners who want simple sales software. It shows open faces while you build a proposal, emails contracts for e-signature, links to QuickBooks Online and puts a board map on a WordPress site. Users are unlimited. It doesn't cover leases, posting or digital loops, and it doesn't find new advertisers.
- Verdict
- Simple, focused sales software for small US billboard owners, with live availability, e-signed contracts and QuickBooks Online, but no back office for leases or posting and no help finding new buyers.
- Best for
- Small independent owners whose deals come by phone and referral and who want proposals and contracts done fast.
- SignDash is built for independent billboard owners and serves US clients only.
- Proposals show open faces in real time, and contracts go out for e-signature.
- It added a QuickBooks Online link in 2024.
- The base price is set at signup. Each extra block of 100 faces costs $250 a year.
- It has no lease, posting or prospecting tools in its published features.
SignDash is a good fit for small US billboard owners who want simple sales software. It does a few jobs well: proposals with live open faces, contracts sent for e-signature, and a clean dashboard. It is light on the back office. And it helps you close the deals you have, not find new ones.
Blip bought SignDash in December 2025, per a company announcement in Billboard Insider. Blip says it will keep supporting current SignDash users and invest in upgrades. It also says SignDash "will become more connected to Blip's broader ecosystem, including data and programmatic features."
What is SignDash?
SignDash is cloud software for billboard sales and inventory. It runs in a web browser on any device. Its site says it is built for "the independent billboard owner." It also says "affordable prices, no hidden costs, and unlimited users."
SignDash serves US clients only. Its site says clients must be in the U.S., with advertisers in the U.S. and Canada. SignDash is in Billboard Insider's 2024 tool list. It was not one of the poll's top three.
How much does SignDash cost?
SignDash doesn't publish a base price. Its site says it has "no hidden costs" and unlimited users. Its terms of service explain how the price is set.
| Item | As published (terms last changed June 18, 2026) |
|---|---|
| Base fee | Set at signup, based on the use you expect |
| Extra faces | $250 a year for each extra block of 100 faces |
| Users | Unlimited |
| Payment | Paid up front |
| Leaving | Either side can end it with 30 days' written notice |
| Renewal | After a fixed term, it rolls to month to month |
So a quote depends on how many faces you have. Ask for the base fee in writing. Then add $250 a year for every 100 faces you expect to add.
Here is an example. Say Riverbend Outdoor in Jackson, TN, signs up with a base fee that covers 300 faces. Next year it grows to 500 faces. That is two extra blocks of 100, so it pays $500 a year more. It can add reps at no extra cost.
What features does SignDash include?
SignDash covers the sales side of a billboard business. Here is what its site and trade press list.
| Area | What SignDash lists |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Occupancy, budgets, proposals, renewals and upcoming tasks |
| Inventory | Open faces shown in real time while you build a proposal |
| Proposals | Built on the go; interactive maps of the proposed boards |
| Contracts | Emailed to the advertiser for digital signature |
| Reports | Expected revenue for a period; face availability |
| Commissions | Tracks commissions for account executives |
| QuickBooks | QuickBooks Online link, added in 2024 |
| Sales funnel | Rates each rep by proposals, closed sales and renewals |
| Team feed | Updates each time a contract comes in |
| Website | WordPress plugin with a board list and map |
The newer items come from two Billboard Insider pieces. One is a February 2024 listing. The other is a September 2024 interview on the QuickBooks link, the sales funnel and the team feed.
How does a deal move through SignDash?
- A rep opens a proposal, on a laptop or a phone.
- SignDash shows which faces are open for those dates.
- The rep adds faces and emails a proposal with a map.
- The advertiser signs the contract online.
- The team feed updates, and the deal shows on the dashboard.
- Invoices can go to QuickBooks Online.
That's the whole point of SignDash. A deal that once waited on a mailed contract can close the same day.
What did SignDash add in 2024?
Two newer tools help a sales manager. The sales funnel tool gives each rep a rating. The rating is based on proposals sent, sales closed and renewals. The team feed posts each new contract as it comes in. Both came up in a Billboard Insider interview from September 2024. The same piece covers the QuickBooks Online link, built with Intuit.
What about your website?
You may want your boards on your own website. SignDash has a WordPress plugin for that. It shows your boards and an interactive map. SignDash says it also builds WordPress sites for clients that pull from their account. If your site is not on WordPress, the plugin won't work.
What does SignDash not include?
These gaps come from what SignDash's site and trade press don't list.
- Leases and permits. No ground lease or permit tracking is listed.
- Posting and proof. No work orders, posting crews or proof of performance are listed.
- Digital loops. No loop, slot or play log tools are listed.
- Prospecting. It doesn't find new advertisers or write to them.
- AI. No AI features are listed.
- Pricing. No public base price.
SignDash also says its app works best on a desktop or laptop in Firefox. It still runs in any modern browser.
Who is SignDash for?
SignDash fits a small or mid-sized independent owner in the U.S. Your deals come by phone and referral. Your reps want to quote a face and get a signature fast. Your books are in QuickBooks Online. And your site runs on WordPress.
Unlimited users help here. You can add a part-time rep or an office helper at no extra seat cost.
How do you get started?
SignDash has no self-serve trial listed on its site. You book a demo or ask for a quote. SignDash sets the base fee from the use you expect. Then your team logs in from any browser. Ask who loads your faces, and how long it takes.
Who is SignDash not for?
- Owners outside the U.S. It doesn't support them yet.
- Owners with a big back office. You'll need another tool for leases, posting and proof.
- Digital-heavy owners. It doesn't list loop or slot tools.
- Owners with many empty faces. It won't go find buyers for them.
What are the pros and cons of SignDash?
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Built only for billboard sales | No published base price |
| Live open faces in every proposal | No lease, permit or posting tools listed |
| E-signed contracts | No digital loop tools listed |
| Unlimited users | US clients only |
| QuickBooks Online link | No prospecting or AI |
| WordPress plugin with a map | Plugin needs a WordPress site |
| Can end with 30 days' notice | Prepaid; rolls month to month after the term |
The biggest pro is focus. SignDash does the sales desk and keeps it simple. It covers only the sales desk, so there is less to learn. And every proposal starts from real open faces, so reps don't quote a face that's gone. The biggest con is scope. Once you need leases, posting crews or proof of performance, you'll add a second system. That second system is often where the hours go.
How does SignDash compare to Apparatix?
Both are built for independent billboard owners. Both do proposals, e-signed contracts and a link to QuickBooks. The difference is depth. Apparatix adds the back office: work orders, proof of performance, real estate tools, pricing rules and digital charting. It also has AI Sales Profiles. SignDash stays with the sales desk and keeps it simple. Apparatix publishes no price for its core software. SignDash publishes its add-on rate for extra faces. Pick SignDash for a small, sales-only team. Pick Apparatix when the back office is the pain.
What are the best SignDash alternatives?
| Tool | Best for | Tradeoff | Price as published |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apparatix | Owners who want billing, leases, posting and e-sign in one OOH system | Bigger system; no public price | On request |
| BillboardPlanet Quantum | Quote to install to accounting in one place | No public price | On request |
| Gabie | Owners with empty faces and a thin sales team | No billing, invoices, payments or e-sign | Free to 100 faces; then $0.25 a face a month |
| HubSpot | Teams that want a general CRM with marketing tools | Faces need Enterprise custom records | Free; paid seats from $7 a month |
| Spreadsheet plus QuickBooks | A few boards with steady tenants | Nothing tracks what's open | Low cost |
Apparatix is the step up if you outgrow SignDash's back office. It covers posting, proof of performance, real estate and billing. See Apparatix vs SignDash for a full side-by-side.
Gabie does a different job. SignDash helps you close the deal in front of you. Gabie Scout, Gabie's AI rep, finds the deal. It looks for local businesses near each open face, checks the contact and drafts a short email. By default, you approve each send. Gabie is free up to 100 faces (Gabie). It has no e-signature or QuickBooks link, so some owners would keep SignDash for contracts and invoices.
HubSpot has a free CRM for up to two users. It doesn't know what a face is unless you build it.
What should you ask in a SignDash demo?
- What is the base fee for my face count, and what does it include?
- How do you load my faces and live contracts?
- Does the QuickBooks link work with QuickBooks Desktop, or only Online?
- Can I track ground leases, permits or posting anywhere in SignDash?
- How do I get my data out if I leave?
Is SignDash worth it?
Yes, for the right owner. If you are a small US owner who sells by phone, SignDash makes the paperwork fast. Live open faces, e-sign and QuickBooks Online cover the core of a small sales desk. Unlimited users keep the cost predictable as you hire.
Look elsewhere if you need a full back office or run many digital faces. The same goes if many boards sit empty. Ask for a written quote with the base fee. Then add $250 a year for each 100 faces you plan to add.
