OOH (out of home)

OOH, or out of home, is any ad people see away from home, from billboards to airport screens.

OAAA defines out-of-home media as all formats made to reach people outside the home. Older laws still call it outdoor advertising.

OAAA splits OOH into four groups: billboards, street furniture, transit and place-based. All four include digital formats.

Billboards are the roadside group. This glossary focuses on them and the work of running them.
