Why do billboards sell in 4-week periods?
Four weeks make a clean posting cycle. A year has 13 of them. So a 4-week rate is a bit lower than a monthly rate for the same yearly total.
Is a 4-week rate the same as a monthly rate?
No. Thirteen 4-week periods fill a year, but only twelve months do. The monthly equivalent is about 8% higher.
