Illuminated billboard

An illuminated billboard has lights so people can see the ad at night, usually from dusk until midnight.

Geopath defines an illuminated unit as one with lights for night viewing, usually from dusk until midnight.

Lights add hours of audience. Geopath counts impressions over 18 hours for lit boards, from 6 a.m. to midnight. Unlit boards get 12 hours, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Lit faces often carry a higher rate. The lights also add power bills and upkeep.

Every empty face is money you already spent.
