Safe area

The safe area is the inner part of a billboard design where words and logos stay visible.

Edges can get lost to the frame, the trim or folds in the vinyl. So keep words and logos inside the safe area, away from the edges.

The safe area sits inside the live area, and the live area sits inside the bleed. Ask the operator for exact margins, since specs vary.

In Gabie

Studio’s canvas shows the bleed, trim line and safe area at the face’s exact size. It draws at 300 pixels per foot.

Every empty face is money you already spent.
