Short answer: HubSpot can run a billboard sales team's contacts, deals and follow-up emails. It cannot tell which faces are open. You build faces as custom objects, which need Enterprise at $150 or more a seat a month, or as products on any plan. Sales Hub starts free, then lists $20, $90 to $100 and $150 a seat.

Key takeaways:
- HubSpot tracks contacts, deals and follow-up. The pages we read list nothing that checks which faces are open on which dates.
- Custom objects for faces need Sales Hub Enterprise, from $150 a seat a month.
- On any plan, you can list faces as products and add them to deals as line items.
- Custom deal pipelines start on Starter. Sequences start on Professional, from $90 a seat a month billed yearly.
- Gabie can push a deal to HubSpot one way, so HubSpot can stay your marketing system.

HubSpot can run a billboard sales team's contacts, deals and follow-up emails. It cannot tell you which faces are open
next month. You can add face records, but you build them and keep them right. This guide shows how billboard companies
set HubSpot up, what it does well and where it stops.

> Note: Gabie makes billboard software and can send deals to HubSpot. Every HubSpot fact here comes from HubSpot's own pages, read
on October 12, 2026. HubSpot's pricing page would not load for us, so prices come from its Sales Hub page.

## What is HubSpot good at for a billboard company?

HubSpot is built around people and deals. It tracks contacts, companies, deals and tasks. Its
[Sales Hub page](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales) lists a free plan that lets you track deals. Paid plans add
outreach, sequences and reports.

That fits the first half of a billboard sale. A rep logs a call with Hollis Family Dental. The rep sets a task, sends
a follow-up and moves the deal along. HubSpot's team says customers can be up and running in days or weeks. That is
HubSpot's claim, not ours.

HubSpot also sells marketing and service tools as separate Hubs. If your marketing team already lives there, that is a
real reason to stay.

## What can HubSpot not know about your faces?

A billboard deal is not only a person and an amount. It is a set of faces for set dates. HubSpot's standard records are
people, companies and deals. The pages we read list nothing that checks one deal's dates against another's.

So HubSpot cannot tell you these things on its own.

- Which faces are open on which dates.
- Which holds have run out. A hold keeps a face for one buyer for a short time.
- Whether two reps promised the same face.
- Whether a flight runs past a ground lease or a permit.
- Whether a rate is right for a 4-week period.

A date on a deal is only a date. A rep still needs a sheet or a tool to see what is open. Our guide to
[billboard CRM software](https://gabie.ai/learn/billboard-crm-software) lists what a face-aware CRM does.

## How do you hold faces in HubSpot?

There are three ways. They differ in plan, effort and how much HubSpot understands.

| Way | Plan needed | How it works | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Custom object called Face | Sales Hub Enterprise | A new record type, linked to deals and companies | HubSpot caps custom objects and properties by plan |
| Products as faces | Any plan | Each face is a product. Add it to a deal as a line item | Quotes need a Revenue Hub plan. No date checks |
| Properties on the deal | Any plan | Text for face IDs, date pickers for flight dates | Faces are text, not records |

### How do custom objects work?

Per HubSpot's [help page](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/create-custom-objects), custom objects
"allow you to track business specific data that fits outside of HubSpot's fully-defined objects."

You set up an association first. Then you can link a Face record to deals, companies and contacts. The page lists
Enterprise for each Hub.

### How do products work as faces?

HubSpot's [product library](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/products/create-and-manage-products) is open to all plans. You
can add custom properties to products. Those carry over to line items. A product added to a deal
[becomes a line item](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/products/edit-products-and-terms-in-the-line-items-editor) on that
deal. So a deal can list face B-114 N and face D-031. Quotes need a Revenue Hub plan.

### How do deal properties work?

[Custom properties](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/create-and-edit-properties) are open to all plans. The
number you can make depends on your plan. The
[field types](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/property-field-types-in-hubspot) include date picker, dropdown
select and multiple checkboxes. Use two date pickers for flight start and flight end. Use a dropdown for format. Put the
face IDs in a text field.

A small team can start here. It costs nothing extra. The weak spot is that faces are text, so nothing checks them.

### Which setup fits your size?

This is our view, not HubSpot's.

- **Under 50 faces and one or two sellers.** Use deal properties and one pipeline. Keep open dates in your sheet.
- **50 to 300 faces.** Use products as faces and custom pipelines. The sheet still owns open dates.
- **Over 300 faces, or many sellers.** Enterprise custom objects can work. So can a tool that holds faces for you.

The bigger you are, the more a missed hold costs. That is when a sheet next to HubSpot starts to hurt.

### What does one deal look like?

Say Kessler Plumbing wants face P-019 for 12 months. Here is the path on a plan that has custom pipelines.

1. The rep adds Kessler Plumbing as a company and opens a deal in the New business pipeline.
2. The rep adds P-019 to the deal as a line item.
3. The rep fills in the flight start and flight end date pickers.
4. The rep checks the sheet to see that P-019 is open. HubSpot does not do this step.
5. When the contract is signed, the rep moves the deal to Won.
6. A task is set for 90 days before the end date, so the renewal starts on time.

Step 4 is the gap. Everything else is HubSpot doing its job.

## How do you set up new and renewal pipelines?

A pipeline is the list of stages a deal moves through. HubSpot's
[pipeline page](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/set-up-and-customize-pipelines) says a custom pipeline
needs a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan. The Free plan allows none. The limits are 15 on Starter, then 100 or 350
on Professional, and 350 on Enterprise.

For deals, the page says you must have a Won stage and a Lost stage. Each needs a deal probability.

Here is one setup. It is our suggestion, not HubSpot's.

| Pipeline | Stages |
|---|---|
| New business | Lead, Proposal sent, Hold placed, Contract sent, Won, Lost |
| Renewal | Renewal due, Offer sent, Won, Lost |

On the Free plan, you get one pipeline. Add a dropdown on the deal called Deal type, with New and Renewal. Then filter by it.

Renewals need a date on the record. Add the flight end date. Our guide to [billboard renewals](https://gabie.ai/learn/billboard-renewals)
says to start talks 60 to 90 days before the flight ends. Have a rep add a task for that day. On Professional, HubSpot
lists sales workflows, which can add tasks for you.

## How do you set up sequences?

A sequence is a series of timed emails. HubSpot's
[sequence page](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/sequences/create-and-edit-sequences) says you need a Sales Hub or Service
Hub Professional or Enterprise plan, and a seat. Each sequence can hold 10 email templates. You can add as many task
reminders as you need.

Billboard sellers use two kinds.

- **New lead.** Email, a call task two days later, then a second email.
- **Renewal.** Tasks at 90, 60 and 30 days before the flight ends.

A sequence runs on a timer. It does not know a face just opened up. If you want outreach tied to open faces, you need
the open-face list from somewhere else.

## What do the HubSpot plans cost in 2026?

HubSpot's Sales Hub page lists these prices. Each is per seat a month, in US dollars.

| Plan | Price shown (Oct. 12, 2026) | What matters for billboard sellers |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Track deals. No custom pipelines |
| Starter | Starts at $7 during an offer. $20 is the regular price | Custom pipelines, up to 15 |
| Professional | $90 billed yearly, or $100 monthly. Plus a $1,500 onboarding fee | Sales workflows and sequences |
| Enterprise | Starts at $150. Plus a $3,500 onboarding fee | Custom objects and complex pipelines |

Prices are per seat, per month, from HubSpot's pricing page on October 15, 2026. The onboarding fees are one-time and
required.

Seats add up. Five sellers on Professional list at $500 a month. Five on Enterprise list at $750. Our
[billboard software pricing](https://gabie.ai/learn/billboard-software-pricing) page compares this with other tools.

## What does HubSpot do well, and where does it stop?

| It does well | It stops at |
|---|---|
| Contacts, companies, deals and tasks | Which faces are open on which dates |
| Timed email follow-up | Holds that run out on their own |
| Marketing tools, sold as a separate Hub | Lease and permit dates checked against a booking |
| A free plan for small teams | Custom face records, unless you pay for Enterprise |
| Help from HubSpot's customer team | A face calendar. You build one |

## Who should use HubSpot, and who should not?

Use HubSpot if these fit you.

- Your marketing team already works in HubSpot.
- You own few faces, and tenants stay for years.
- Other parts of your company run on HubSpot.
- Someone has time to build and keep up the face setup.

Think twice if these fit you.

- Faces sit empty and you need to see what is open.
- Two or more reps sell the same faces.
- Nobody owns the setup.
- You would need Enterprise only to hold faces.

## Can HubSpot work with a billboard tool?

Yes. Many owners keep HubSpot for marketing and add a billboard tool for faces. Gabie's
[CRM page](https://gabie.ai/platform/crm) says a rep can push a deal to HubSpot. Pick one system to own availability. Two
calendars that disagree will double-book a face. See our guide to
[HubSpot vs Salesforce for billboard companies](https://gabie.ai/learn/hubspot-vs-salesforce-for-billboard-companies).

> How Gabie handles this: Gabie keeps structures, faces, holds and open dates in one record. Your Gabie admin can connect HubSpot. Then a rep
pushes a deal, with its company, contact and stage, to HubSpot, one deal at a time. It goes one way. Gabie has no
Salesforce link and no email marketing. Gabie is free up to 100 faces ([pricing](https://gabie.ai/#pricing)). See
[Gabie CRM](https://gabie.ai/platform/crm).

## Questions people ask
### Can HubSpot track billboard inventory?
Only if you build it. Custom objects for structures and faces need an Enterprise plan. On lower plans, you can use products and deal properties. HubSpot's pages list no face calendar, so you also build the open-date check.

### How much does HubSpot cost for a billboard company?
HubSpot charges per seat a month. Sales Hub is free, then $20 on Starter, $90 to $100 on Professional and $150 on Enterprise. Professional and Enterprise add a one-time onboarding fee of $1,500 or $3,500.

### Which HubSpot plan do I need?
It depends on the job. Custom deal pipelines need Starter or above. Sequences need Professional or above. Custom objects need Enterprise. Custom properties and the product library work on any plan.

### Can HubSpot stop a double booking?
Not on its own. The pages we read describe no face calendar and no hold timer. You can build rules, or keep availability in a billboard tool and use HubSpot for people and deals.

### Is the free HubSpot CRM enough for a small billboard company?
It can track contacts, companies and deals. The Free plan allows no custom pipelines and no sequences. You can split new and renewal deals with a deal property instead.

### Can I use HubSpot with Gabie?
Yes, one way. Your Gabie admin connects HubSpot. Then a rep pushes a deal, with its company, contact and stage, to HubSpot. It goes one deal at a time.
